MML1831-PCR medical monitor
The new 18 inch MML1831-PCR monitor is the evolution of the green product monitor MML1821-PCR. Redesign of the pedestal and inner-cover and removal of the counter weight resulted in a total weight reduction of 20% for the whole monitor as well as a packaging weight reduction of 15%. Additional power consumption due to the keyboard backlight has been compensated by removing one of the two fans used in the reference monitor. The fan removing has been made possible by the new thermal design in which an aluminum inner back cover is used as an extension of the SMPS heat-sinks. The environmental impact over the whole product life cycle, measured with EcoScan is reduced by 2.4%. © PHILIPS - THIS PHOTOGRAPH IS FREE FOR EDITORIAL (NON-COMMERCIAL) USE WITH PHILIPS-RELATED SUBJECTS
