Global energy saving in schools program
Our Global School Program on Energy Efficient Lighting is designed to help schools save money on unnecessary electricity bills and teach children about living a more environmentally responsible lifestyle. The approach differs per country. In Hong Kong we?ve called upon students to adopt a more environmentally friendly lifestyle by making a simple switch to using more energy efficient lighting. At year end, more than 100 primary, secondary schools and universities had enrolled. In Malaysia, preschool children learned how to save energy with the Philips CeTree (Center of Education, Training on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency) Mobile Energy Efficient Show Home. © PHILIPS - THIS PHOTOGRAPH IS FREE FOR EDITORIAL (NON-COMMERCIAL) USE WITH PHILIPS-RELATED SUBJECTS
